Caia of Sweden is a Swedish design label that Design and produce bags and accessories. Inspired by dreams, adventurous trips around the world. A melting pot of different cultures that are intertwined in a tradition-bound hand craft of fashion integrated with function and environmental awareness.

Caia of Sweden is in charge of the whole creative and practical process behind the bags and accessories – from sketch to finished product, through the processing of raw leather. All materials are tanned and colored with vegetable products and all linings is made of ecological cotton that breathes with the leather.

Caisa Charlotte Leifsdotter Iversen is the name behind the brand Caia.  The concept started on the way to Tokyo. After years of treveling and studies in art and design, Caisa chose to turn around. Change direction and take command over the own destiny. She moved back to Scandinavia. Bought a lot of raw leather and a weekend later, she had designed the first collection of Caia bags.

Caias love for old leather bags that for decades been forgotten in an old dry attic or damped basement took shape in her design, which is as soft feminine as crude and unrefined. The bag is a personal accessory that develops its own history.  Its like a pair of British hand-sewn men’s shoes they have a quality that allows it to be inherited from generation to generation.

Caia binds together the feeling of past times with dynamic and feminin design and shape. A direct and never-ending wanderlust brings to life. When the chance of writing your own story, create your own destiny and be your ultimate self begins.
